Product Description: The Whirlwind TLP line tester is a dedicated cable testing device for Neutrik  Powercon@.

They are battery-powered continuity testers that can easily detect certain cable conditions that are difficult to detect without applying dangerous high voltages. Each of the three wires is tested for continuity, short circuit, or improper connection.

The TLP has three green and one red LED to indicate correct wiring or any error fault condition. The operation is very simple and requires no operation.

A properly wired cable will light up all three green LED indicators. The LED indicator for the ground wire will light up first, followed by the LED indicator for the neutral wire and then the LED indicator for the live wire, to confirm that the grounding wire is connected first and disconnected last. The Whirlwind TLP is powered by a 9-volt battery located inside the device. To install or replace the battery, remove the six housing screws and place the battery in the battery compartment. When closing the bottom housing, use the original screws. Do not use overly long screws as they may pierce the battery. The TLP has a battery test button to confirm that the battery can properly test the cable. When pressing the battery test button, the grounding LED lights up to indicate that the battery is working properly.
