PRESSPOWER 3 has two independent gain-controlled Mic/Line inputs and 16 isolated transformer outputs with individually selectable Mic/Line level operation. PRESSPOWER 3 also includes a 20-unit LED level indicator, an internal test signal generator, a built-in headphone amplifier with volume control, high-pass filter, and phantom power – all of which can be operated from the front panel.
High quality input stages can provide clear audio even in high electromagnetic interference situations.
PRESSPOWER3 uses 115/230 VAC-50/60 H power supply, which can be powered by 4 x 9V batteries or external DC power supply (12-36VDC) on the rear of the device. This means that PRESSPOWER 3 can be powered by car batteries, cigarette lighters, camera batteries, etc. When the main power supply fails or the battery is exhausted, the device will automatically switch to the strongest backup power supply to continue working.
More active Mic/Line outputs can be achieved through the 16-channel PRESS2XP expansion module, providing 32 active outputs. Additional Mic outputs can be achieved using passive PB series expansion boxes connected to the POWERPRESS 3 output port set to Line Level.
PRESSPOWER 3 can be independently placed in a standard rack box without using a shock-absorbing backpack, and the 4U height shock-absorbing package can be purchased separately.
